Design is a team sport that requires situational awareness and emotional intelligence to be successful. To lead sustainable design teams, one must maintain a balance between the needs of the business, customer, designer while also demonstrating the ideals of a psychologically safe environment. Therefore, as a player-coach, people manager, and creative director I work to enable psychologically safe, nourishing environments that allow contributors from across disciplines and organizations to explore new ideas together.
